Openness, is it a big deal or not?

If I could give anything to the world I would give openness because I don't think we should treat anybody or any creature badly. We should treat everyone and everything the way we want to be treated. For instance, take the individuals that pick on others because of their sex, race, nationality, religion, the sex they are interested in or because they have a disability. I myself understand how it feels to be bullied because I have a disability and people have criticized me more then a dozen times. They may not all criticize me to my face but I have heard them behind my back and by others that they have. And it really makes me feel useless and I'm sure it does others as well. Therefore I can relate to others that get singled out.
If you remember when Martin Luther King Jr. was alive he stood up for the rights of African Americans because of the way Caucasians were treating them. When all they truly wanted was to be equaled to Caucasians. However Caucasians wouldn't allow them their rights. Their rights have gotten better especially being President Obama is in office at the moment. But I feel they won't ever be equaled to Caucasians. Some will always be around that won't like them.
Finally I want to bring up the way people treat people with disabilities like they don't exist or matter. So a person has a disability, BIG DEAL! So what? It shouldn't matter! They are just like everyone else, so if you have a problem with them, GET OVER IT! We are all different and the same in one way or another. Therefore, treat people the way you want to be treated because someday you could be in their shoes!
